Mental Health & Wellness Support
There are currently nine Peer Supporters at St Antony’s. All are trained to listen effectively, communicate sensitively, respect boundaries and above all, maintain confidentiality. Every other week, Peer Supporters also attend an hour-long supervision meeting with a trained counsellor. Drop them a line at email@example.com.
Peer Supporters also run the popular Cookie Fairy scheme and other termly events. There is also a partnership with the Green Templeton College Peer Supporters, and you are therefore very welcome to approach them and/or attend their weekly Welfare Tea & Cake.
Peer Supporters from around the university have also come together to form:
DPhil in International Relations
I am a DPhil student in International Relations (2018 - ), focusing on China's understandings of international hierarchies. I have engaged with St Antony's GCR's work as GCR Secretary and co-VP Welfare. If you have questions or welfare-related concerns you do not know who to talk to, don't hesitate to reach out! I will try my best to direct you to the most helpful resources and respond to welfare initiatives together with the College and GCR's welfare teams.
Josh Parker Allen

You are not alone. Irem would love to listen to you. When you see her around the college, feel free to approach her or drop her a line
DPhil in Latin American Studies
Emilie comes from the Czech Republic and is a DPhil in Latin American Studies focusing on the history and politics of Argentina. As Peer Supporter she is aware of the immense pressure and stress of academic and personal life in Oxford. Feel free to contact her by email or approach her in person if you would like to discuss troubles of any nature or just want someone to talk to.
Mythical Figure of the College
A seasonal mythical figure of the college. If one of your friends is feeling low or stressed you can email the fairy to make sure they get a cookie or a treat to make things better! They won't know you sent it. xoxo
