Peer Supporters (including Peers of Colour or Rainbow Peers)

Members of the student community who provide informal counselling and support to fellow students in College. Peer Supporters will hear you out, whatever the challenge - be it related to family, friends, partners, academic stress, or any other personal dilemma. They will help you reflect and, as the case may be, guide you to additional support channels.

GCR Welfare Team

Welfare VPs, the LGBTQ+ and BME Officers are here for you: to listen, provide guidance and also implement your suggestions.

At BOPs, you'll find them sporting pink welfare vests.


Oxford Student Union

The Student Advice service is the only independent advice and information service exclusively available to Oxford University Students. During term time they also offer telephonic advice. Contact the Student Advice service at
